தாரிக் அலி

தாரிக் அலி (Tariq Ali, அக்டோபர் 21, 1943) இடதுசாரிக் கொள்கை அறிஞராகவும் நாத்திகராகவும் எழுத்தாளராகவும் நூலாசிரியராகவும் விளங்கி வருபவர்[1][2]. தி கார்டியன், கவுன்டர்பஞ்ச், லண்டன் ரிவ்யூ புக்ஸ் ஆகிய இதழ்களுக்குக் கட்டுரைகள் எழுதுபவர்.

பிறப்பும் இளமையும்

பாக்கிசுதானில் உள்ள லாகூரில் கல்வியில் சிறந்த குடும்பத்தில் தாரிக் அலி பிறந்தார்[3][4]. இவருடைய தந்தையார் ஒரு புகழ் பெற்ற பத்திரிகையாளர். தாயார் தொழிலாளர்களின் உரிமைகளுக்கும் பெண்களின் உரிமைகளுக்கும் பாடுபட்டவர் பெற்றோர் இருவருமே பொதுவுடைமைக் கொள்கையிலும் இறை மறுப்புக் கொள்கையிலும் பிடிப்புடன் இருந்தனர்[5]. இவருடைய அம்மா வழித் தாத்தா பஞ்சாப் மாநில பிரதம அமைச்சராவார்[6]. இத்தகைய குடும்பச் சூழலில் தாரிக் அலி வளர்ந்ததால் இக்கொள்கைகளில் முனைப்பான ஈடுபாடு ஏற்பட்டது. இருப்பினும் இசுலாம் சமயத்தின் கோட்பாடுகளையும் கற்றுத் தேர்ந்தார்.

படிப்பும் போராட்ட ஆர்வமும்

மாணவப் பருவத்திலேயே பாக்கிசுத்தானின் இராணுவ ஆட்சியைக் கண்டித்து போராட்டங்களில் கலந்து கொண்டார்.எனவே இவருடைய கல்வி தடைப்படுவதைத் தவிர்க்க எண்ணி தாரிக் அலியின் பெற்றோர். இவரை இங்கிலாந்தில் உள்ள ஆக்சுபோர்டில் சேர்த்தனர்[3][7]. அங்கு தத்துவம் அரசியல் பொருளியல் ஆகியத் துறைப் படிப்புகளைக் கற்றார். 1965 ஆம் ஆண்டில் ஆக்சுபோர்டு யூனியனில் தலைவராகத் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப் பட்டார்.

  • வியத்னாம் போர் நிகழ்ந்த காலத்தில் அப்போரைக் கண்டித்து பல விவாதங்களில் கலந்து கொண்டார்[8].
  • அமேரிக்கா இசுரேல் ஆகிய நாடுகளின் அயல்நாட்டுக் கொள்கைகளைத் தொடர்ந்து எதிர்த்தார்.
  • வெனிசுலாவில் நடந்த பொலிவா புரட்சிக்கு ஆதரவு தந்தார்.
  • புரட்சி வீரர் சே குவாராவின் மீது அன்பு கொண்டு இருந்தார்.
  • நீயூ லெப்ட் ரிவியூ என்னும் இதழைத் தொடங்கி வைத்து அதன் ஆசிரியராகத் தொடர்ந்து இருந்தார்.
  • 1968 ஆம் ஆண்டில் அனைத்துலக மார்க்சியர்கள் குழுவில் சேர்ந்தார்.
  • அண்மைக் காலத்தில் உருவான புதிய தாராளமயக் கொள்கையைக் கடுமையாக எதிர்த்து வருகிறார்.
