எண் அமைப்பு
- இயல்பெண், இயற்கையெண் - Natural Number - நேர்ம முழு எண் or குறையல்லாத முழு எண்
- முழு எண் - Integer (...-3, -2, -1, 0, 1, 2, 3...)
- நேர்ம முழு எண் - Pos -1)
- மெய்யெண்- Real Number - (பூச்சியத்தில் இருந்து இருபக்கமும் விரியும் எண் கோட்டில் விழக்கூடிய எந்த ஒரு புள்ளியும் மெய்யெண் எனலாம்.)
- பின்ன எண் - Rational Number (a/b, where a and b are integers)
- விகிதமுறா எண் - Irrational Number (Real number which is not a Rational number)
- கலப்பெண் - Complex Number - (a + jb)
