அபு சயாப்

அபு சயாப் (ஆங்கிலம்: Abu Sayyaf, அரபி: جماعة أبو سياف‎) என்பது ஆயுதம் தாங்கிய இஸ்லாமியத் தீவிரவாத அமைப்பு ஆகும்.[1] இவ்வமைப்பு பிலிப்பைன்ஸ் நாட்டில் செயல்படுகிறது. கடந்த 40 ஆண்டுகளாக பிலிப்பைன்ஸின் ஜோலோ மற்றும் பாஸிலான் பகுதிகளில் தீவிரமாகச் செயல்பட்டுவருகிறது. இக்குழுவின் நோக்கம் இப்பகுதிகளில் இஸ்லாமியக் கலிபா ஆட்சியை நிறுவுவதாகும்.[2] இவ்வியக்கத்தின் பெயரான அபு சயாப் அன்பது அரபி மொழிச் சொல்லாகும். இதற்கு வாள்வீரனின் தந்தை எனப் பொருள்.[3]

பிலிப்பைன்ஸிலிருந்து தங்கள் பகுதியை பிரித்துத் தனி இஸ்லாமிய ஆட்சிப் பகுதியாக மாற்ற வேண்டும் என்பதற்காக இக்குழுவானது 1991 ஆம் ஆண்டிலிருந்து குண்டுவெடிப்பு, ஆட்கடத்தல், படுகொலை செய்தல், போதைப் பொருள் கடத்தல், கற்பழிப்பு, குழந்தைப் பாலியல் நடவடிக்கைகள் மற்றும் மிரட்டிப் பணம் பறித்தல் ஆகிய தீவிரவாதச் செயல்களைச் செய்துவருகிறது.[4][5] பிலிப்பைன்ஸின் தெற்குப் பகுதியில் ஈரானிய பாணியிலான இஸ்லாமிய ஆட்சியை நிறுவ வேண்டும் எனபது இதன் நோக்கமாகும்.[6] இவ்வியக்கம் தனது தீவிரவாதச் செயல்களுக்கு அதிநவீன ஆயுதங்களையும், நவீன வெடி பொருட்களையும் பயன்படுத்துகிறது.

தடை

இக்குழுவின் தீவிரவாதச் செயல்களுக்காக அமெரிக்கா இக்குழுவை தீவிரவாதக் குழு என அறிவித்து இதை தடை செய்துள்ளது.[2][7] 2002 ஆம் ஆண்டில் அமெரிக்காவின் தீவிரவாதத்திற்கு எதிரான போரில் அமெரிக்கா இக்குழுவினரையும் தாக்கியது அதில் இக்குழுவினரின் முக்கிய தலைவர்கள் அமெரிக்காவின் சி.ஐ.ஏவால் கொல்லப்பட்டனர்.[8]
