அகதிகளின் நிலை தொடர்பான ஐக்கிய நாடுகள் உடன்பாடு என்பது அகதி என்பவர் யார் என்பதையும், அவர்களின் உரிமைகளையும், புகலிடம் கொடுத்த நாடுகளின் பொறுப்புகளையும் வரையறை செய்த அனைத்துலக உடன்பாடு ஆகும். யார் அகதிகளாக ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளபடார் (எ.கா போர் குற்றவாளிகள்) யார் என்பதையும் இது வரையரை செய்கிறது. இது டிசம்பர் 4, 1952 அன்று டென்மார்க்கில் முதலில் ஏறுபுறுதி செய்யப்பட்டது. இதுவரை 147 நாடுகள் இந்த உடன்பாட்டை உறுதிசெய்துள்ளன.[1][2]
