വിദ്യാഭ്യാസം
അധ്യാപനവും അദ്ധ്യയനവും ചേരുന്നതാണ് വിദ്യാഭ്യാസം. ഒരു തലമുറയിൽ നിന്ന് അടുത്ത തലമുറയിലേക്ക് സംസ്കാരം പകർന്നു നൽകപ്പെടുന്നത് വിദ്യാഭ്യാസത്തിലൂടെയാണ്.

പ്രാഥമിക വിദ്യാഭ്യാസം
പ്രാഥമികവിദ്യാഭ്യാസം (Primary Education) എന്നത് ഔപചാരിക വിദ്യാഭ്യാസത്തിന്റെ ആദ്യ വർഷങ്ങളാണ്. ബാല്യകാലത്ത് നേടുന്ന വിദ്യാഭ്യാസമാണിത്. മിക്ക രാജ്യങ്ങളിലും പ്രാഥമിക വിദ്യാഭ്യാസം ഒരു നാലാം വയസ്സിലോ അഞ്ചാം വയസ്സിലോ ആണ് ആരംഭിക്കുന്നത്.
ദ്വിതീയ വിദ്യാഭ്യാസം
കൗമാരകാലഘട്ടത്തിൽ നേടുന്ന വിദ്യാഭ്യാസമാണ് ദ്വിതീയ വിദ്യാഭ്യാസം (Secondary Education)
