ബ്രാട്ടിസ്ലാവ
മധ്യ യൂറോപ്യൻ രാജ്യമായ സ്ലോവാക്യയുടേ തലസ്ഥാനവും രാജ്യത്തെ ഏറ്റവും വലിയ നഗരവുമാണ് ബ്രാട്ടിസ്ലാവ(സ്ലോവാക്യൻ ഭാഷയിൽ: Prešporok)[1].തെക്കുപടിഞ്ഞാറൻ സ്ലോവാക്യയിൽ ഡാന്യൂബ് നദിയുടെ ഇരുകരകളിലും മൊരാവാ നദിയുടെ ഇടതുകരയിലുമായാണ് ബ്രാട്ടിസ്ലാവ നഗരം സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്നത്.ഏകദേശം അഞ്ച് ലക്ഷത്തോളം ആളുകൾ ഈ നഗരത്തിൽ താമസിക്കുന്നു[2] .ഓസ്ട്രിയ,ഹംഗറി രാജ്യങ്ങളുമായി അതിർ പങ്കിടുന്ന ബ്രാട്ടിസ്ലാവ നഗരം രണ്ട് രാജ്യങ്ങളുമായി അതിർത്തി പങ്കിടുന്ന ലോകത്തിലെ ഏക ദേശീയ തലസ്ഥാന നഗരമാണ്.സ്ലോവാക്യയുടേ രാഷ്ട്രീയ , സാംസകാരിക,സാമ്പത്തിക തലസ്ഥാനവും ബ്രാട്ടിസ്ലാവയാണ്[3].തദ്ദേശീയർക്ക് പുറമേ ഓസ്ട്രിയ,ഹംഗറി,ചെക്ക് റിപ്പബ്ലിക്ക്,സെർബിയ മുതലായ രാജ്യങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നുള്ളവരും ഈ നഗരത്തിൽ താമസിക്കുന്നു[4].
