ജർമനിയിലെ ഏറ്റവും വലിയ സംസ്ഥാനമായ ബവേറിയയിലെ ഒരു നഗരമാണ് ന്യൂറംബർഗ് (Nuremberg /ˈnjʊərəmbɜːrɡ/; ജർമ്മൻ: Nürnberg; pronounced [ˈnʏɐ̯nbɛɐ̯k]  ( listen)[2]) പെഗ്നിറ്റ്സ് നദിയുടെ കരയിലും റൈൻ-മെയിൻ-ഡാന്യൂബ് കനാലിന്റെ കരയിലുമായി സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്ന ഈ നഗരം മ്യുഞ്ചൻ(മ്യൂണിച്ച്) നഗരത്തിനു 170 km (106 mi) വടക്കായി സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്നു. മ്യുഞ്ചൻ കഴിഞ്ഞാൽ ബവേറിയയിലെ ഏറ്റവും വലിയ രണ്ടാമത്തെ നഗരമായ ഇവിടത്തെ ജനസംഖ്യ 517,498 ആണ്. ഈ നഗരത്തിന്റെ രേഖപ്പെടുത്തപ്പെട്ട ചരിത്രം 1050-ൽ ഇവിടെ നിലവിലുണ്ടായിരുന്ന ഒരു റോമൻ കോട്ടയെക്കുറിച്ചാണ്.
