ದ್ರವ್ಯರಾಶಿ
ದ್ರವ್ಯರಾಶಿ ಎಂದರೆ ಒಂದು ವಸ್ತುವಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ದ್ರವ್ಯದ ಒಟ್ಟು ಮೌಲ್ಯ. ಆದರೆ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳು ದ್ರವ್ಯರಾಶಿ ಶಬ್ದವನ್ನು ದ್ರವ್ಯದ ಒಂದು ಗುಣವಾದ ಜಡತ್ವದ ಮಾಪಕವಾಗಿ ಬಳಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. ದ್ರವ್ಯರಾಶಿ ಮತ್ತು ತೂಕ ಸಮಾನವಲ್ಲ. ಒಂದು ವಸ್ತುವಿನ ತೂಕವು ಅದರ ಮೇಲಾಗುವ ಗುರುತ್ವ ಶಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಅವಲಂಬಿಸಿರುತ್ತದೆಯಾದರೆ ದ್ರವ್ಯರಾಶಿಯು ವಸ್ತುವಿನ ನಿರಪೇಕ್ಷ ಮೌಲ್ಯವಾಗಿರುತ್ತದೆ.
