Taylorella is a genus of the Alcaligenaceae of the order of the Burkholderiales. The cells are gram-negative, rod-shaped and non-motile.[1]

The species include:

Taylorella equigenitalis: causes contagious equine metritis in horses.[2]
Taylorella asinigenitalis: found in the genital tract of donkeys, this species is not pathogenic.[2]
