Sphingomonas astaxanthinifaciens

Sphingomonas astaxanthinifaciens is a bacterium from the genus of Sphingomonas which has been isolated from fresh water in Misasa in Japan.[1][3][4][5] Sphingomonas astaxanthinifaciens has the ability to produce astaxanthin.[5]
