The Department of Animal Nutrition and Nutritional Disorders established results proposing that M. elsdenii vaccines can help prevent subacute ruminal acidosis (SARA) depending on dietary grain through altering rumen flora. (Arik, Gulsen, Hayirli, Alatas).
