The following is a list of people who died on the toilet, where individuals have died while using a toilet facility or in the process of defecation or urination. This includes all confirmed historical figures and more modern recent notable cases of deaths.

Deaths in fiction
  • A Song of Ice and Fire / Game of Thrones: in the book A Storm of Swords from the series written by George R. R. Martin the character Tywin Lannister is killed while using the toilet.[17]
  • Crusader Kings II: it is possible for characters to die "while attending to 'chamber business'".
  • Pulp Fiction: one of the central characters, Vincent Vega, is killed with a gun just after using the toilet.
  • The Sopranos: one capo for Tony Soprano's crime family, Gigi Cestone, died on the toilet, likely due to stress caused by the new leadership role.
