Deaths in fiction
- A Song of Ice and Fire / Game of Thrones: in the book A Storm of Swords from the series written by George R. R. Martin the character Tywin Lannister is killed while using the toilet.[17]
- Crusader Kings II: it is possible for characters to die "while attending to 'chamber business'".
- Pulp Fiction: one of the central characters, Vincent Vega, is killed with a gun just after using the toilet.
- The Sopranos: one capo for Tony Soprano's crime family, Gigi Cestone, died on the toilet, likely due to stress caused by the new leadership role.
