The combination was approved for medical use in Europe in 2008.[1] The combination is on the World Health Organization's List of Essential Medicines, the safest and most effective medicines needed in a health system.[3] While it is available in India and Europe it is not available in Canada, Australia, or the United States as of 2019.[4]
