John Milton Hagen antigen system

The John Milton Hagen antigen system (JMH) is a high-frequency human erythrocyte blood group antigen.[1] It consists of six high-prevalence antigens. These antigens are located on the Sema7A protein.[2] Antibodies in this system are occasionally found in reference laboratories. They are usually not enormously important in that they do not typically cause significant hemolysis or hemolytic disease of the fetus/newborn.[3]
