Geroprotector

A geroprotector is a senotherapeutic that aims to affect the root cause of aging and age-related diseases, and thus prolong the life span of animals.[1][2][3] Some possible geroprotectors include melatonin,[4] carnosine,[5] metformin,[6] nicotinamide mononucleotide (NMN)[7] and delta sleep-inducing peptide.[8]
